“Hey Stacey, Donovan has a big day planned for us, did he tell you what it was?”

“I think he wanted to but I stopped him, I didn’t want to ruin the surprise because I would definitely tell you so I have no clue”

“So what do you have planned today?”

“I will be going on my own date.”

“You what?”

“What are you the only person allowed to find someone?”

“No not like that Stace, I mean you never mentioned this guy before so I’m just shocked that’s all. We are sisters and you never told me so I’m actually a little offended.”

“Lena you have been through so much I didn’t want to say anything, and besides I need to make sure it last before I go running my mouth.”

“Oh please Stacey, Donovan will be here soon, I have to finish getting dress, but tomorrow me and you are doing lunch.”

“Okay that’s fine; I can’t wait to tell you all about him.”

“Good, I will talk to you later, bye!”

Donovan pulls up to Lena’s house in a nice BMW Convertible. He gets out in a crème linen pants suit with some nice brown casual shoes. He had his hair cut in a nice low fade with some “I’m the man” and I know it glasses on. Lena stared out the window and watched him walk up. He looked so muscular and tall. He was gorgeous. Now Lena felt a little under dressed in her floral floor length halter dress. Still she looked beautiful and thought the floral print would look nice against Donovan’s crème linen pants suit. It actually felt good to be awaiting my prince charming, and oh how charming was he.

“Who is it?”

“You know who it is, I saw you peeking out the window.”

“What? No you didn’t, what are you talking about?”

“Let me in and I will tell you.”

“Well hello beautiful lady”

“And hello to you handsome.”

Donovan gives her a kiss on her cheek and hugs her so tightly.

“So are you ready to go, or did you forget you have to do this and do that?”

“Excuse me smarty, but I am 100% ready”

“Oh well that’s impressive. Come to think of it you have been impressing me since the day we met.”

Is that right, well you are not so bad yourself.”

Lena pulls him towards her and gives him a gentle peck on the lips

“And what was that for?”

“Because you are a wonderful man, and I am blessed to be in your company. I have never felt so loved, honored, respected and appreciated like you have made me feel since being with you. I want to tell you from the bottom of my heart thank you and I truly love you Donovan Johnson. You mean the world to me and I am happy that you were patient with me, and loved me and protected me.”

“Baby I have loved you since day one. I knew it was love because I could feel it. To make sure I prayed on it and God reassured me. This was meant to be and I truly love you too.
